ABC – English

We extend our congratulations on your selection for the upcoming TV show segment!
SCHEDULING A HOME TOUR VIDEO:
Upon securing a listing for a feature on the show, it is imperative to have a signed and approved ERS and TV Release Form. Once this documentation is obtained and approved by Real Estate Essentials admins, you may proceed to schedule our Production Crew to conduct filming at the property.
There are three available options for home tours:
1. Basic (Video): Value Productions will visit the property to film a comprehensive video tour. Subsequently, you will join us at the studio on the ensuing Monday to record your introductory segment and voiceover.
2. Video with On-Site Intro: You will meet with Value Productions at the property to provide an on-site introduction. Following this, you will attend the studio on the subsequent Monday for voiceover recording.
3. Full Walkthrough: This option incurs an additional cost. You will convene with Value Productions at the property to conduct a detailed walkthrough, during which you will highlight key features. Be prepared for both on-camera segments and voiceover narration. Notably, there is no studio visit required for voiceover recording with this option. **RECOMMENDED OPTION**
** Please note that options 1 & 2 are covered by the brokerage. However, the Full Walkthrough, and any supplementary services acquired from Value Productions will be an additional cost to you (These costs are severely subsidized by the brokerage).**
POST-HOME TOUR FILMING:
Our film crew will deliver your finalized content within 72 hours of filming (typically). Additionally, our marketing team will receive a copy and will schedule you for a voiceover recording on the subsequent available Monday. Should the scheduled time be inconvenient for you, you may go into the event invite and click “reschedule”. Then you can choose any available time to do your voiceover.
BEFORE YOUR VOICEOVER:
It is imperative that you adequately prepare for your voiceover filming session prior to your scheduled appearance on the program. Failure to do so may result in rescheduling and omission from the broadcast.
Here are some guidelines to assist you in your preparation:
- While viewing your video, take notes on key points to address:
- Familiarize yourself with the property and its distinctive features.
- Emphasize the location’s advantages, such as nearby amenities, schools, and transportation options.
- Highlight the property’s unique selling points, including layout, design, and special amenities.
- Mention any community amenities available to residents, such as parks, pools, or recreational areas.
- Incorporate insights provided by the seller regarding what makes their property special to ensure alignment with their marketing preferences.
We encourage you to watch segments from your peers on our YouTube channel to gather inspiration and ideas.
VOICEOVER DAY:
When arriving for your voiceover session, please adhere to the following:
- Arrive punctually, at least 5 minutes before your scheduled time slot.
- Be prepared to promptly deliver your home tour, focusing on 5-6 key features, to maintain the program’s schedule.
- Your voiceover will be conducted alongside a preselected, highly trained REE Host to ensure consistency and adherence to our brand standards. No exceptions will be made for alternative agents.
- If you are unable to fulfill your voiceover slot, it is your responsibility to find a replacement who is briefed on all talking points and knowledgeable about the property. Kindly inform production once a replacement has been secured and briefed.
Fair Housing:
Additionally, it is essential to be mindful of fair housing requirements during the marketing process. Please review the provided video for guidance on complying with these regulations, particularly regarding language usage in property descriptions.
The key point is: Please remember you can NOT use “Family,” “Children/Kids” and “Master Bedroom” when marketing the home. Use verbiage such as “Large Gatherings” or “A great gathering place for events or hosting.” Your home tour will be cut before it airs if you are found to be breaking any of the fair housing regulations.
Regarding the show’s logistics:

Segments Offered
Our show features Home Tours, Neighborhood Features, and up to 5 Market Facts.
To participate in the Neighborhood Feature or provide Market Facts, please utilize the respective buttons above.
- Market Facts segments offer concise insights into essential market information, similar to brief TikTok videos. These segments are not opportunities for personal promotion or solicitation.
- For instance, homes in Rose Park are flying off the market 20% faster this year, possibly due to the buzz around the new baseball park. Tune into Real Estate Essentials every Sunday at 4:30.
It’s vital to note that this segment isn’t an opportunity to solicit calls or promote you personally or your team. In other words, refrain from declarations like “I’m the ultimate listing agent – call me!”
If such tactics were effective, real estate agents would inundate television with advertisements.
